Replacement Tires

A friend had a blow out on one of his tires. I know why, and it isn't a problem with the tire.

Question -
Assuming price isn't a concern, which ST tire would you buy for your TT?
Goodyear Marathon
Towmax
Carlisle
Towmaster
Freestar
Hercules
Trailer King
Trail America

    at this point in time the only ST tire I will use will use to replace my 225x75Rx15 is the Maxxis M8008… if that wasn’t an option I would spend the money for new wheels and LT tires…

    and no I wouldn’t use a tire mfg. in mainland China of any brand or type…

    Maxxis as a 1st choice and Carlisle as a 2nd choice. The rest are IMO, junk.

    Unless it's relatively heavy and has 15-inch wheels, in which case options are limited and you may have to go with an ST, in which case my vote is Maxxis or GT Radial - they're less crappy than the others IMHO.
