Replacing Furniture

We are wanting to replace our hide-a-bed with a reclining loveseat for more comfort. After a week long beach trip in Florida (first long haul by the way), we are wanting something more comfortable while we are inside relaxing.

Does anyone know of a place to buy a reclining loveseat to fit into our slide that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks in advance!

  • I replaced the couch in our TT with a dual leather recliner. Tried it for one season, did not like falling into each other while sitting in the recliner. Replaced the duel recliner with two regular recliners. Much better now. Took 5 guys to get the duel recliner inside. I took it out by my self and put the two recliners in by my self as the backs came off. So far so good. I am nearly 80 so I am proud that I could move them in and out
  • I am in the same boat. I have a 68" pleather sofa/ air bed that is simply not comfortable. I found a 63" dual recliner love seat at Value City Furniture for $499. Granted it is not high quality but it will fit and it is comfortable. I have placed the RV sofa for sale on Craigslist, hoping to get some bites before I buy it.
Personally I won't replace my junk RV sofa with other RV spec furniture. RV furniture is way overpriced in my opinion and lower quality than household furniture.
  • Replacements can be tricky to find and sometimes really pricey. First problem is that it has to fit through the door. You're likely going to need something that the back lifts off. My cousin and DH were going to replace with 2 recliners and all they could find that would work were LazyBoy and way too steep a price tag. Good luck.
