Cougarnewbie - We share the center console with our dog also, we elevate the back area to the same height as the console so she can go back and forth between her bed in back to the center console, yes, we do spoil them.
GordonThree - I do have the Quad cab, although I think there is a difference in size between the 1500 and the 2500/3500 quad cab, not sure though. I didn't notice an electronic air vent back there, I will have to look closer.
