Replacing the Stove/Oven

I was wondering if many out there have taken out the the Stove/Oven and replaced it with just a stove top? We never use the oven for anything but storing pans and very few, so I am going to replace it with just a stove top and make the bottom into much more storage in fact lots more storage. Want your thoughts?
  • We bake breakfast rolls often so the oven comes in handy. We've also used it to bake a prime rib now and then.
  • We've always used our oven and wouldn't have a RV without one.
Nor would we have a convection microwave, since we dry camp the majority of the time.
  • Some people love ovens - but many rarely use them. I wasn't surprised that some of the newer rigs don't even come with ovens anymore.
  • a convection microwave/oven will do the same as a space robbing gas oven. had ovens in my first 2 Class As, when I ordered my third, no oven.
    bumpy
  • We never used our oven. I would rather have the stove top and the extra storage for my crockpot and electric skillet.

Go for it...configure your RV to your liking.

You could always pack it up in storage and if the new buyer wants it...offer to give it to them.
  • Fresh baked, hot cinnamon rolls on a wet northwest morning at the beach...
We are keeping our oven. (and using it to store pots and pans.) win, win.

X2 to using the oven way too often, to not have!
  • It sounds like yoy are already using it for storage. Plus someday you might want to bake.
We actually have started using ours about once a trip aftet not using it for years.
