We have the "regular" oven like most of us have in the 5W.
Thinking to exchange it with a Convection Micro-oven,for better performance and saving valuable space.
Any one done it? what does it take? picture?
Thank you
You would be wiser to keep your stove top/oven in place and just replace your regular microwave with a convection oven/microwave combination. - Poppy___NanaExplorer

Oh how my "honey do" list just keeps getting longer! :B - Tom_M1ExplorerI have a convection/microwave and it works great. I boondock 100% and seldom use the microwave but occasionally use the convection oven. I cooked a 13 pound turkey in it once. I run the generator to use the oven.
I don't have a conventional oven but I have replaced the cheap Suburban cooktop with a Smeg 24" residential style cooktop. You will most likely have to do a bit of cabinet work once your oven is removed.

Ours came with Micro/Convection over the stove. We use both and wouldn't change. Veggies, cereal etc by micro, roasts and cakes etc in convection. Convection also cooks much faster than conventional oven, so can stop in the afternoon and have roast for supper. Usually cook outdoors but on those cold rainy days you got to love it.
another good point, the micro/conv will heat up a small RV much slower than running your LP oven for a longer period of time.

- doxiemom11Explorer III don't have an oven, had never used a convection oven before we moved into our RV. I love it and have no desire for a regular oven. I do a lot of cooking as we seldom go out to eat.
- pugslyyyExplorerWe boondock but really don't miss the lp oven - and it is nice to have the microwave for vegetables, etc at dinner time. We have a nice built in grill on a slide-out and cook on it most of the time to keep the odors/humidity outside.
- Queens_CarriageExplorerIf you boondock a lot I would think that a lp oven would be more useful. If you stay in RV parks it wouldn't matter. Just sayin

Ditto, and I would recommend just leaving the LP oven there and using it for storage since it could be a real issue if and when you sell your trailer.

We have a micro/convection in place of where the oven would be.
Can you please send pictures and explain what it took to do the exchange.
Thanks
