And I love my RAM but some of these comments are rediculous. A truck with a 27' TT is faster than a souped up Honda off the line? You don't really believe that, do you?
This is not an exaggerated comment. This really happened on US 25 Georgetown RD at the light with Citation Blvd. north of Lexington, KY and we were heading outbound. My wife is a witness.
I'm betting that the Honda probably had the visual bling added and the loud muffler installed but didn't have any true performance equipment installed. He was pushing it for all it was worth and the Ram just plain out-accelerated him.

Last I saw, the RAM's unloaded 0-60 times were somewhere north of 8 seconds. I am sure adding a large TT is going to add several seconds to that, maybe even doubling it.
Do a search on acceleration times of virtually any car made in the last 10 years, and I don't think you will find one that is slower than 12 seconds to 60. It is entirely possible the guy stalled the car, or didn't know he was racing. But if he was trying, I am certain he would have more than held his own.....
To the OP, sorry for taking this off track with some juvenile comments. Congrats on the new truck. Just hope you have reasonable expectations for it.
