Today I had some new Rancho 9KXL's put on the rear axle. The old ones were pretty beat. For comparison I had the camper on and could tell right away that the sway was less and the 'control' felt better on curves and undulating pavement and especially our dirt road lane with double progressive spring packs. The guy who put them on swears by Bilsteins with the load self adjusting feature found on only one version. They took the adjusting dials off both shocks and gave them to me as spares, as it is an achilles heel for the Ranchos. I've swapped many adjusting dials out over the years replacing ones that froze up, were ineffective or scraped off by a passing rock.
