So let me know what you are running, how you like 'em and what you would recommend.
Nice find Skip! You're gonna love having the 19.5" wheels & tires.
I've got 76K miles on my XDE's and they are about 2/3's worn. The Michelins have really served me well... I had 'em match-mounted by a local high-end suspension shop and they're absolutely vibration free. I'm planning to replace them this summer due to age rather than wear, but this time I'll be going with Bridgestone M729F's. The XDE's have always been kinda' noisy and when they were new the tread-squirm was horrible.
Mine are 245's. IMO, this really is the perfect size for a 3rd-gen Ram that's stock ride height. Of course I have considered going up to 265's (or taller) but if I did that then I'd want to re-gear too (from 3.73 to 4.10), and if I'm putting gears in then I'd (obviously) also want to add front & rear lockers to the mix... and, well now we're talking about a big expensive project on a 10 year old truck.
Keep us posted on what tires you wind up with.
Cheers,
Mark
