My Michelin xds2 245's sing a bit.... Acceptible to me/us. Mud and snow was the goal there.

About 6,600 rear axle weight loaded for bear, camper/50 gal water 2 propane tanks etc..
Do feel the difference in tire height v/s gear ratios with the 460 engine.... 2 inches total.... From my 16's to these 19's. It's not much and does not change the odometer speed and mileage. Think my rear end overall equavalent ratio went from 4:10 to about 4:6..... Online calc is avail if you are curious. From what you said your diesel will love it. Think it was about 4 mph.
These tires took a pounding on our Summer Alaska trip, <>10,000 mi and we went all the way to Prudhoe Bay...
