I've started a tally sheet with brand, size, pros, cons based on the feedback. So far, the Michelin XDS2 is in the lead. It's got stronger construction and has a following here that endorse them.
I stopped in at Costco today and chatted with the counter man. (Wish I had my talley sheet with me...)
He can get the Michelin XDS2 for $408 each but doesn't have the machine to mount them. I can get 'em mounted at the service garage where I used to work, not a BIG deal, but I wonder if another Costco has the equipment to mount them? I don't think there would be any additional charge for mounting, but I might be wrong.
So, Does $408 plus tax/disposal fee sound about right?
