I'm seriously looking at this kit as it not only allows me to lock/unlock the front hubs, but service the front wheel bearings;

I went with the
Dynatrac Free Spin hubs as well as their
ball joints. Everything that Dynatrac builds is bulletproof and I'm not interested in having my wheel bearings (or any other component for that matter) leave me stranded on the side of the road. Maintenance is a breeze and being able to unlock the front hubs is awesome... It improves mileage, reduces vibration, eliminates unnecessary wear, and gives you a super-useful 2-wheel-low range.
What 'heavy duty trac bar' are you referring to? My Dodge truck doesn't have trac bars.
You
do have a trackbar! Mine is from
Thuren Fabrication and also fits the '06 Ram.
There is a sway bar, but I do not know of anyone who makes an aftermarket heavy duty one for the 2006 Dodge 4x4 truck.
Yes, it is too bad that there isn't a stiffer aftermarket front anti-sway bar available for the Ram trucks (although
Carli makes a softer one). IMO the best rear bar for our trucks is the one from
RoadMaster.
The DSS steering stabilizer and the '08 steering linkage upgrade address death wobble and steer wandering.
The DSS makes a
huge improvement in the stiffness of the front end and road feel! in particular it maintains the position of and protects the sector shaft. The '08 steering linkage is a big improvement over the previous design. it is much stronger and eliminates bump steer. There's a recall from Dodge/Ram that should covered your truck... check with your dealer and you can get the upgraded parts installed at no cost.
Of course, now all that is jinked because of you bringing it up here!
I did no such thing :B
