I got the wheels and cleaned them up. They look practically brand new! I haven't gotten the tires yet, but I'm looking to get the Michelin 245/70R19.5 XDS2 tires from Costco for $403 each. I got a guy who I know that is going to mount and balance all 4 for $100.
Reason I haven't gotten the tires yet is that other stuff keeps coming up. I scored on a Torklift Superhitch with 36" extension, a set of 4 Torklift frame mount tie downs and a Hellwig Big Wig sway bar for $600. I only needed the hitch, extension and the rear tie downs. I posted the swaybar, my old rear tie downs and the front tie downs I got in the deal on Craigslist and sold the sway bar for $100 and listing the tie downs for $100 a set (Front / Rear)
Then I took the truck to the dealer for the front steering recall. No problems there, my truck was fine.
I got the hitch installed and the tie downs, then just tonight, I put the camper back on the truck. I'll probably go to Costco this week sometime, but I dropped off my wife at the airport tonight so she can visit her sister and I'm a free man until Sunday night and want to go kayak fishing!! Ha!!
Maybe see you at Rancho Seco on Saturday morning?? Gotta get some blood on that new kayak's deck of yours!
