RIDDLE ME THIS ?

Question

Even though Atwood is still very much in the RV appliance busness they decided to no longer supply parts for my range so I replaced the unit with a nice new Saburban.  In doing the swap out I was very surprised to see the back side of an AC outlet under my sink! I have had this rig for 15 years and never saw this.  Of all the places I could have used another AC plug why this location?  It appears to be a factory install

Maybe for a future accessory like a UV water filter or a small instant water heater?

If you are seeing the BACK side, the plugin side must be on the outside of the trailer.

Perhaps I did not describe this correctly.  The plug face is in the cabinet under the sink.  Inside.  If't odd because of all the polaces another plug would be nice this is not one of them.Just curious.
