If the lines are not properly cut at a clean 90 degree angle they will eventually leak through the push fitting. I installed my own bags and had to reterminate one of my lines after a year due to poor work on my part the first time. I had plenty of line and was able cut off the end and reinsert the line. No problems with leaks after that repair.
I did find the bolts holding together the 2-part upper bracket were weak when I installed the bags. One snapped and I could feel another one stretch as I was torquing it. I replaced all eight of those bolts with grade 5 hardware and didn't have any problems after installation.
