Rims and Tires for F350

What are the widest rims and tires you can put on a 2000 F350 CC LB, without having to modify the fenders?
  • We have a 2003 f350 4x4 cc long bed srw and put Vision wheels with 245/75/19.5 tires on it. There is plenty of clearance in the wheel wells even with a 4000lb truck camper mounted in it. We also pull our fiver with this tire and wheel setup not at same time as truck camper. The wiggle from the stock tires is gone and the truck does not sway or rock back and forth when passed by semi's.
  • SRW or DRW? Completely different factors are involved with wide hip trucks.

What weight rating do you need? Remember that rims and tires must be able to handle your load.

Tire diameter will change what width will clear your wheel openings and also change your final gearing. Just more things to think about.
  • Widest? Depends on a lot of things including: how tall of a tire, offset of the wheel, type of tire and if your vehicle is a 4wd or not.

That all said, generally speaking, a 285 all Terrain a 10 inch wheel with proper offset should be good to go. A 315 is a question mark depending on the above.

    Helpful?
  • You would get a better selection of answer if you would use the tow vehicle forum. May be the mod can move you over there

The problem you will have is the rear tires will make contact either unloaded, loaded or both.
