One other thing . . . I guess Rivians will never break down. Since there will be no Rivian dealerships, if something does happen, where do I take it?
Toyota, on the other hand, has over 1200 dealerships nationwide, all with something unique called a Service Department. Pretty much no matter where I might be in the country, one is not far away.
Maybe Rivian hasn't thought that far yet, and quite obviously, neither have Rivian buyers.
I'll stick with the tried & true, and not some concept that focuses on the seamless experience of 'buying' a vehicle, with what is seemingly total disregard for what happens next.
