After 2 years in desert sun, my end cap was flaking 50%. Bought ZEP stripper at Lowes. Thinned it 1 part to 4 parts water. Did a 1sq ft area. Worked good as described. I lightly buffed another area with 3m scruby pad. This still left some rmp3 blotches but all loose rmp3 was gone. I recoated both areas with RMP-3. Could see no difference in the finished product. Buffing was much easier than full stripping. Also concerned about stripper on graphics. It does take a lot of color from graphics. You be the judge. try both methods.
