That was 2013. Did they find the person? What was the outcome?
This was a facepalm comment from the article:
“Most things that have been purchased recently have a bar code that shows who bought it, when it was purchased and where it was purchased.”
Most items are not INDIVIDUALLY barcoded and serial numbers aren't often tied to purchases, unless registered for a warranty.
It really takes very little time to properly secure a ladder, I also wish more would take that time ;)
