ROCKWOOD HW296

I have a Flagstaff HW 27KS which I believe is a 2ft shorter than the one you're looking at. I pull it with a `13 Ford C/C 5.0 and the mountains of Colorado made it work in some places....but we were also loaded with 5 people, 5 bikes clothes & food for 10 days plus a whole lot of other stuff that we thought we'd need but just got in the way.

I own a Rockwell HW256 and I love it. For me Forest River did a great job when the built my camper. It has a 12 foot box and for the wife and I it is pretty roomy, add 1 more person and it starts to get tight and with any more it is too small. I think the 16 foot box is way roomer. I would suggest you go find a dealer with both and go inside each one. I think Forest River is one of the better RV companies. The lift system on my camper broke and Forest River took care of the repair completely under warranty.
