I didn't think anyone traveled with full tanks. It adds obviously a lot of
weight but if your truck will handle it I guess no harm done but if your over
loaded or sagging some place its clear either the truck or the RV is going to
break down probably on the road. Because of this they now have to include the
weight ratings with full tanks although few people travel that way. I put in
enough for the dog or emergency but keep a cooler in the truck and keep the tanks mostly empty on the road. They are cutting corners I don't like these new black interiors and black tinted windows but it permits cheaper materials to
be used and then painted instead of stained. I have seen new RV's falling apart inside because of the new construction materials and still smell formaldehyde or what ever in some. Its challenging to keep quality and still make a buck or two these days. Get lots of opinions on everything before putting down the huge sums of money needed to just go camping and realize you will probably lose half in depreciation but you will have years of family fun and memories to talk about which makes it all worth it.
