I don't think the OP plans on towing even a 8000 lb. with his Ram, so no need to sound the alarm just yet. He also doesn't have a bunch of kids and all their stuff to pack in either. I towed a couple of different TTs with a Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi with a 3.92 axle, a Reese Dual Cam WDH, and a Prodigy break controller, and and I LOVED how it towed. I'd tow anything up to 6000 lb. (loaded) with it - no problem, especially with a Reese Dual Cam WDH.
