roof joint sealing

Hello guys,

I inspected roof of our TT a few days ago, noticed a small gap between the roof and the side if the trailer (photo attached)

Here is the link to the photo:

Can I use Dicor non sag sealant to fix it? Any better solution to fix this small gap?

Thanks
  • I am using Eternabond for similar spots on roof.
  • Dicor should work fine - for extra protection consider using Eternabond but that will require you to do the necessary prep work b4 applying.
  • Not sure what it can bond to on the side...?

Can you see this picture? http://dfp.byethost16.com/IMG_1663.jpg

X2 on using Eternabond. I used it on my roof edges.
  • Either Dicor non-sag sealant or Eternabond tape but let's see pictures before a final recommendation. As bukhrn said...do something quickly.
  • Not sure why it stopped working... Here is the pic: http://dfp.byethost16.com/IMG_1663.jpg

I'd go with your idea, NON Sag Dicor, remove the old sealer and clean first, would be rather hard to impossible use Eternabond in that application, do it immediately, unless you have it under cover.

  • Your pics don't show up. Check out the Forum Posting Help and Support section at the top right of the page - it should have some info on how to post pictures.
