If all you are doing is gluing the rubber seal back to it's original surface, original Liquid Nails can't be beat! Really! I've used (original) Liquid Nails on lots of outside projects, INCLUDING the seals on my truck shell, tailgate back window to glue the rubber gasket back to the aluminum. It does require a little pressure to hold it in place, but not so much the Liquid Nails won't dry.
You don't want Liquid Nails for Projects, or Styrofoam, or anything like that. You want the original Construction formula Liquid Nails. Any Home improvement store sells Liquid Nails, WallMart probably has it too.
