This is about the best picture I can come up with, you can see the water tanks on the roof of the campers, we have to be self sufficient at Assateague so drinking water and keeping the gray tank usage down to a minimum is a priority for camping a couple days on the beach.

Not sure if anyone else remembers but I had to redo the roof on my Shadow Cruiser last year due to PO neglect: http://imgur.com/a/RriBM
Someone on here has to camp at Assateague and know what I am talking about.
I know that beach very well. Where was that picture taken, a AMSA Camporee? And you're right, everyone has a water tank on the roof. We just got our Lance so I haven't added a water tank yet but for now, if we need more water, we'll go to the drinking water spigot in the park. There's a luggage rack option that we didn't get on our TC, wish we did. Maybe talk to some of the guys in the bullpen and see how they mount their tanks. We've met so many great people there who gave us so much advice on our camper.
I'll be watching to see how you mount it, good luck.
Maybe we'll meet you out there.
We love AI!
