Rotten Egg Smell under the trailer

Trying to decide how worried to be about an LP leak, vs one of the waste tanks leaking into the underbody insulation. Any thoughts? It seems to come and go.
  • I wouldn't over do it on the choline , Choline is very hard on rubber gasket. Some is ok but don't over kill.
  • Thanks. Yes it looks as if the battery is getting hot and smells. Will have it checked.
Added some bleach to the grey tank for good measure.
    Thanks for the helpful messages
  • You should be very worried about an LPG leak. However it can be easily tested by doing a leak down test with a manometer. RV manufacturers recommend the test being done annually as a normal maintenance item.

I second the opinions that it could be the battery boiling.

X2 on checking BATTERY FLUIDS... That's the smell I associate with batteries being boiled out being over charged at 13.6VDC or a bad cell in one.

Your 2014 model RV should have the modern SMART MODE converter/charger setup installed that helps preventing this from happening so it may be be something else however...
