Thanks Robert - going small sure has it advantages... I am definitely going with a couple of these ideas for the somewhat wasted space I have on the front deck area of my off-road war wagon... I only use my front deck for supplies and want to locate a couple of those large drawer metal cabinets...
My 12-foot box plus the 5-foot front deck would give me all the room I would ever need for my back country outings here...
After watching the VIDEO this idea has good merit as well. The trailer is the enclosed bed and cooking area. The large opened up tent is the living area...
Alot of us guys that camp in the smoky mountains here in TN do the large tent canopy over the camp site idea. The trees are so heavy in there every time it rains the trees drip water for days...
With my 12-foot box I would have all the comforts of home and it would blend into outside camping rather well using a large tent canopy over the whole thing...
My large off-road foot print has all the room it needs for batteries and power source items.
