Rt# 66
Some maps show interstate 66 contnect form Washington DC over to interstate 81. Google maps does not show this. Is there a interstate 66 or not?

We took the old Route 66 when it was still intact back in 1969. If I remember right, we picked it up around Oklahoma City going WEst. Much of it is now in disrepair. We had a 1957 Chevy with no air conditioning and a flax water bag hanging in front of the radiator. We travelled the desert at night. The old motels and road houses were still up and running. A great American Road.
