Rubber Bed mats?

Just go get a few cheap yoga mats. I have had my thin $10 Wally World yoga mats under my camper for around 25,000 miles now and they are holding up just fine. The camper stay's put even off road and they are super light weight.

Any truck bed mat will suffice - auto parts stores sell them, as do some other stores.

A "truck bed" mat will cover the full length of the bed, plus the areas in front of and behind the wheel wells.

HOrse stall mats work too, but are sized so that you may need to buy several and then fit them in place. They are liekly a lot heavier too, which makes removal more of a challenge.

Truck bed mat, I leave mine in all the time.

I actually bought a SkidGard mat from the dealer when picked up the camper. Paid $90.
I initially said no, but went with it anyway. Glad I did. It provides a nice barrier/cushion not mention the anti-slip factor. The camper does NOT and has not ever moved even one 1/4 inch.

Do you get abrasion against the bed with the side walls? When I had a drop in liner the bed stayed perfect for 16 years, but I had to pull the liner every other year and touch up paint to prevent rust.

any idea what it weighed before you cut it?

4 x 8 rubber horse stall mat. Purchased on sale for $45.00 at Wilco.
Cut outs were made to reduce weight. Rubber strips follow the camper bottom framing and have plenty of extra margin.
The rubber is easiest to cut with a utility box cutter knife by scoring the rubber.

I thought about that, and may end up going that route.. but I get a little OCD and will probably end up trying to bond them together.

You need a thin rubber mat to prevent shifting and sliding. Even with a spray in liner, it is too slick to keep your TC in place. If your truck cab or rails are too tall for your TC, thicker horse stall mats will build up height at the expense of weight. Although high density foam panels can be used to build up height, too many examples of TC floor damage where foam compressed at the edges leaves me wary of advising it. Some people have created wooden frames with foam inserts that work well, but you will still need a mat over the top and possibly one between the wood frame and truck bed.
