Factory sprayed liners warranty ends when the bumper to bumper warranty of the truck is done! Line X/ Rhino liners have a LIFETIME warranty for the original owner. I know there are a few other liner co's out there, but these two seem to have the largest/ best dealer support. At least for Line X (which is what I have) anyway.

I have also heard of factory sprayed liners peeling, and needing to be repaired by the local Line X dealer.

If it wasn't for the lack of warranty for the factory one, that would be a tough decision to make.

Why choose which liner would be best, just get all 3! I have a sprayed in (bought the truck used and it was already there). I didn't really like the look of it and I prefer a "dropin" under rail liner, so I got one. I find them too slippery so I put a rubber bed mat on top of that. So I now have all three!! Talk about "Belt and Suspenders"!! LOL

Thanks for all the recommendations. I guess it will be the spray in liner. I tried to call the dealer to see who they use but no reply yet. I will take my chances with the adaptor fit. I am usually pretty easy on my trucks. Never remember a inside out dent in the box. I was surprised to see how easily the floor of the bed scratched. Seems the paint might be a little thin. When I installed and removed the hitch to check fit I lined the bed with cardboard and after that the heaviest thing in the box was a couple coolers which slid around a little. Can't believe the marring it caused

I bought factory bed mats for the last two PU's. Heavy duty and good fit. I've had Line-x in the past and it held up well.

I can certainly see the attraction to spray-in bedliners. They do look awesome. Nothing sexy about a drop-in.

However, a plastic, drop-in bedliner does have its place for some users. If you're one that really abuses your bed with paint, grease, and toss sharp, heavy objects into it on a daily basis, a plastic, drop-in bedliner might be a better option. A drop-in can take significant impact without denting the sheetmetal underneath. Even the best spray-in has no chance against paint or a thrown 50-75 lb. sharp-edged object. A lot cheaper, quicker, easier, and more practical to replace a drop-in aftermarket bedliner for $150-$200 then attempt repair of bare sheetmetal or reapplication of a spray-in liner.

Many plastic drop-in bedliners can be quickly removed (and re-installed) for cleaning by simply lifting up on the center rear section and pulling it up and out. It helps to have help, but it can be done by one. Agree, drop-ins do rub the paint underneath, but for those who think it's going to rust through the sheetmetal overnight are dramatizing things a bit. A simple application of bearing grease on the pressure points, every year, will prevent any rust.

Once the bare metal is exposed in your bed, corrosion starts. The spray on liners are best the best to abate this problem.

I use a rubber mat made for the truck purchased from Tractor Supply. Truck gets used daily on a construction site and holds up well. What wrong with scratches in the paint inside the truck bed?

So I feel I have the best of all (JMHO)!

I have a spray in bed liner, 14 years old and looks great, and a rubber bed mat on top of it!
Nothing moves, and I can pick up the mat for cleaning.
