If you don't own the camper yet, why not get one with a built in generator? Then you have zero hassles with the weather, theft, storage, stringing cords, storing gas, storing generator(s). On a cold, rainy or snowy day, you stay inside your camper all warm and cozy, and just press a button on the wall to start the generator.
