I put my under the back overhang of my camper. never had an issue. I point the exhaust away from the camper.
It's a good way in my estimation many benefits.
I think also that those with overhangs that drop below the truck bed might have a harder time finding a good spot out of the rain. One advantage to the NL campers is the higher overhang in the rear..
I don't understand some posters presenting a vague comment trying to hide the making fun of another. Never could understand.
I'll presume you're talking about me since Reality Checks comment was rather pointed, lol.
I can assure you my primary intention is not to poke fun but rather to pass along my experience. Kind of what this whole forum is about.
The poking fun part comes in when those who appear to have less experience in a particular subject as evidenced by the substance or tone of their post proclaim what the "right" way is to do something and pass off others experience as "wrong" without anything to substantiate.
This particular subject would be akin to saying "you shouldn't drive your car in the rain because you could drive thru 3' deep water, hydro lock the engine and ruin the vehicle. Best to keep it in the garage when it's raining!"
I'm never antagonistic about something without something to back it up, unless maybe bantering with Fish On about Cummins vs Powder Strokes!
