RV Fridges-----lots of discussions
Basically. IF fridge was NOT safe to operate while in transit I would NOT want to be a sleep while it was running :B
RV propane system has safety features......more so then the fuel delivery system in your car/truck
Excess flow devices----limit propane flow should line/hose break
Flame proof requirements..no flame proven/gas valves close
System is only 0.4 psi (11" WC) less pressure then if you pucker up and whistle
When in transit OK to operate fridge
When stationary -----make sure RV is LEVEL if operating fridge
(Level....reasonably comfortable----walk inside w/o tilting)
When in transit...turn fridge OFF ---propane valved out where required.
Bridges/tunnels back east, ferries etc. (POSTED SIGNS)
Enjoy...go camping........don't make it complicated :B
