As I understand it, a 30# tank of propane will equal around 4 gallons of gasoline. You can get gasoline just about everywhere. Propane, not so much. Having to refill the propane every day or so could really be an inconvenience and I guess I just don't understand the advantages of powering a generator with propane.
I can see the advantage for a home generator running on natural gas since you would essentially have a never ending supply from the gas company. Propane power does not provide the same advantage.
