Y'all have got some excellent eyes, can't make out what the hitch looks like from the pic.
The other thing, y'all are making assessments and have no information. Perhaps that trailer is too heavy, and perhaps it isn't. There is no way to determine that and the pic doesn't provide it.
Lastly, as BIGGYNINER has pointed out, even one of the "almighty" 3/4 ton trucks can have "mishaps" happen.
Y'all are drawing conclusions based on supposition.
