It's hard to find unbiassed reviews or any true comparisons. Most people after buying a trailer will either love it or hate it due to whatever problems they have had. So, I think it is up to the shopper to look at and compare as many trailers as possible and evaluate quality differences versus price.
Since you are near in Illinois, you could certainly check out a lot of the RV factories in Indianna.
Based on our ownership of a 2014 Winnebago Minnie 2201DS, I think they are better than entry level with an appropriate price difference. But there are certainly other companies with better than average products such as Lance, Northwood/Arctic Fox, Airstream (considered upper end of quality by many) and Outdoor RV....and, I know there are other manufacturers that could be mentioned.
But as to any great sources of unbiassed information or quality evaluation, I haven't seen or found it!
