Scott, do you have the rear camera and if so does it work well, We are going back and forth on the trifold or the sofa bed with air mattress not the cross stich I seen the video and it is not a good setup. also do they pre wire the roof with solar and satellite?
I did not get the B/U camera. It was something like $700 and I have a wife for that!
The roof is prewired for solar. There's a connection up there with wires going down to the existing solar controller (20W panel on top of AC cover) where they are coiled up behind it. There's another solar connection at the front, drivers side of the trailer. It's wires are routed to the area just behind the batteries where it's just coiled up and dead ended.
Just checked and there's no sat connection on the roof. It's on the street side of the trailer. It would not be too hard to run another cable up to the roof from the entertainment system though. It shares cabinet space with the fridge so it would be easy to fish a cable up through the fridge cavity and its vent.
Never had an air bed but it seems like someone who uses it nightly might get tired of having to blow it up every night. Either the air or tri-fold would be good for occasional use I think. Of course, maybe the air bed is more comfortable than the full Hide a Bed.
One other thing I thought of, the master BR mattress is junk. It looks good with it's pillow top but after 10 nights of sleeping on it, my wife and I (130# & 170#) have left two large dents in it. It looks worn out already.
We'll replace it next year.
