My sofa folds down, can't remember what kind of sofa, but the cushions are attached. Did you have to remove the whole sofa from the TT to work on it? If not, how did you remove the old material?
A quick way to do "covers" for cushions/pillows is to actually to a pillow case with an "overlap" (make one side bigger) then sow on Velcro, voila, a cover that won't slip off and works easier then trying to do zippers or sewing jobs from heck. That hasn't been done yet in mine but we're planning to do just this maybe this summer, material is costly so having to find a good strudy "sit on" material is something thats not always easy.
We also painted one wall to get rid of the horrible stripped material that was on the wall, we only painted over it, didn't bother to rip it donw'off. It worked.
