RV dreams

Hello All! I have been lurking the site for a long time now. The wife is wanting to purchase a TT in the next 2 years. I would like to purchase sooner but when the time comes, it comes. It will be the Wife, 2 girls (9 & 13) and myself. We are having a hard time deciding on a TT and whats needed vs whats not needed. Her wants are a bunk-room for the girls, and a good amount of space in the kitchen/living room. I am not picky when it comes to layout as I am more concern with weights, length and price. I want our first TT to be 32-33' in length and 25k max price. What are some suggestions you have for a TT?

My TV is a 2016 Nissan Titan XD Cummins and it tows amazing. Most of the time when I tow. I dont know its back there. Best Truck I have ever owned.

11,930 is my max towing
1,690 is max payload
Has integrated goose-neck and trailer brake control
  • If all of you are travelling in the tow vehicle, you will be right at your limits with most TT units in the size range you have mentioned. 1700 lb payload with 4 in the truck doesnt give you a lot to work with. Look at lightweight units for your preferences, maybe the keystone Outback293UBH. Private room with dinette and two permanent bunks as well as third for if they bring a friend. And it has the outside kitchen. Many possibilities in this size and layout, kitchen counters are limited, but the ones I mentioned had large pantry's at least.

Just pay close attention to tongue weights, remember the listed weights dont include batteries, propane, Weight distributing hitch, or water in the tanks, so allow for them on the tongue weight in addition to whatever you load in the TT.
