Jesus, we thought we were paying a lot when we had to pay $40/month for an outdoor spot. That being said, we never had an issue in the 2 years it was stored there. Now we store outdoors at our house and again, it's fine.
The only major plus of covered, in my opinion, is that you can avoid damage from stuff like hail storms. I guess not having to winterize would be nice, but not a huge deal.
