Myself, I like reading TCM but I take little credence in their camper and / or equipment reviews. My opinion of their unit reviews is they appear to be biased, depending on how much a particular manufacturer (they are reviewing) caters to them in advertising fees. I like their mods column however. I've picked up some good 'tricks' so to speak from there.
The non response by RIVA and then the belated canned response, was to me, much ado about nothing.
I messaged Angela and told her just that. There are better blogs out there pertaining to TC's. Problem is, they all get less and less subjective as the paid advertising increases which is ok, but not ideally subjective because, no site is free (I pay for my own .com site). Just because you can post on a site like this or any other don't mean it's free. It's free for you as a poster but it's not for the forum host, there is the cost of rackspace, the cost of the domain name and registration, the cost of leasing the programs to run the site and the cost of IT services. Paid advertising defrays those costs...
