Yes, we have a Chrysler Town and Country van. It's a four-hour trip and I hated to drive two vehicles just because of the price of gas and also because I'm not sure what the parking situation will be there. It's a music festival and will be packed, I'm sure.
Also, we live in a one-stoplight town and I'm not a "crazy traffic, multi-lane" driver in unfamiliar territory. I'm not sure what kind of roads we'll encounter on the way. My husband drives truck for a living, so it doesn't bother him. I'd really like us all to be together in one vehicle.
Once we get there, we won't be doing any local driving. It's a four-day music festival with passes to the adjacent amusement park/waterpark. I don't think we'll have any need to leave the premises once we arrive.
