Safety in popup for single woman?
I'm considering all options for the RV I will buy. I really like the compactness of popups and figure they would be easy to handle, but I'm a single woman traveling by myself. I imagine criminals cutt...

I typically travel alone when I take my Flagstaff A Frame out on the road. When I looked to downside from travel trailer to pop up, my spouse said he'd feel better knowing I had solid walls around me if he wasnt with me. The A Frame is perfect! Fast and easy set up and solid walls. Face it, its still an RV and if a person really wanted in, they're gonna get in.
Deterrants are great! Being aware of your environment, practicing personal safety and maintaining both your tow rig and trailer will be key to feeling confident while on the road as well as staying safe. I travel with 2-3 Bullmastiffs when I go to the shows and I have a concealed weapons permit which I got when I began traveling distances by myself. Its all relative to where you go and who you'll be with. I also carry pepper spray ever since I took a late night shower and it dawned on me how easy a weirdo couldve accosted me when I came out of the shower room...now I keep it under my towel. I had friends staying in their trailer on the grounds & told them about my feelings. They got a little upset and said I shouldve told them I was going to the showers. Lesson learned. Spouse wasnt too pleased when I checked in with him either. They all thought I was smarter than that. LOL so now I share with you so you wont repeat in being unaware.
