So I got a call from my Dodge dealer informing me the part was in last week. Already knowing they'd screwed up and my truck didn't need it, I figured I'd have a little fun with it. I had the day off yesterday so I took the truck in and sure enough about 30 min later the service advisor comes by looking ashen faced and informs me they are very sorry they screwed up and my truck doesn't need the part after all. I let her know just exactly how I felt about that. I actually felt a little bad for her. Anyways after a conversation with the service manager I walked out with a free fuel filter change. I had just done the oil or I would have asked for that too. Probably could have got more but I just wanted to get my point across and not be a dickhead about it.
