As I said before. On many TTs it simply isn't possible to cross 'em.
If like most of us you use a WD hitch, it won't matter.
Hook your TT up with the WD engaged. Now unlatch the coupler, and try to get the couple off the ball....It can't be done.
So long as the WD is hooked up, that coupler is NOT coming off the ball..
So I'm not gonna stress over the fact that my last two TTs couldn't have their chains crossed....
What is interesting is some of the laws quoted that require it for TTs, but not other trailer types....The exact opposite of what it should be.
TTs normally use WD. Other types not.
