I am not sure satellite tv is even worth it anymore with the advent of satellite internet and IPTV boxes. the satellite internet gives you the ability to stream anywhere and also lets you use your cell phone just like if you were in a cell coverage area and other stuff. the only downside is the cost of the roam plans, but hopefully as more people go that way the pricing will come down.

About 10 years ago we had in motion satellite and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now with cellular internet or roaming starlink it's so simple and makes the in motion domes and the old dishes seem so primitive. All the cables, wires and controllers. Now, everything is mostly wire free and plug and play.
To the OP, if you're set on satellite starlink is the way to go. Otherwise, cellular internet plans are cheap enough. Both have their pros and cons but both work very well. We have a T-mobile home internet (it travels with us) that's pretty cheap for unlimited data. Handles both of us working remote as well as streaming on 2 TV's.

ya, I guess we are going to have to get people who do satellite posts to add the location where they mostly camp, as we discussed before 1/2 to 2/3rd of the US and pretty much all of Canada doesn't have cell coverage once you get out of the populated areas, or limited coverage due to geological features. if I was to rely on cell coverage I would be screwed, very far and few between that I have cell coverage in a campground.

These questions get discussed ad nauseum. There is a search feature as well as related content section to the right of the post. I think you'll find the information you are looking for in previous posts.
