ib516, you are full of it up to your neck plus. Dodge/Ram basic is a manual transmission (and neither GM nor Ford offer manual tranny's and the auto tranny weighs so much more than the manual and much more than a rear bumper). No power options of any kind on the Dodge/Ram trucks as the words BASIC were given. The 1500 Dodge/Ram had/has a very weak frame compared to both Ford and GM and that's why their payloads are so much less and you'd know that if you had actually researched or measured before making dumb statements. You obviously don't have a clue and shown by the BS you so often type!
:)
That's really interesting. Any chance you can provide some proof (link to click etc.) that Ram's frames are weaker than those used by Ford and GM? Never heard that one before. I'm so sorry to tell you this, but your very weird hatred for a truck brand I happen to own kind of lowers your credibility with me. :( So.... proof would be nice instead of just your word. Thanks!
Oh, BTW, Ram's G56 6 speed manual actually weighs 225 lbs, and the 68RFE weighs 263 lbs (38 lbs difference).
