I bought a Edge gauge at Amazon.com for $310. I looked at the scan gauge, and wanted more features.
I can monitor cylinder head temp, transmission temp, coolant temp and many others. It also monitors MPG and I wanted to monitor RPM on the 2001 van that I bought without a tach.
I know - more expensive, but think of it this way. It can me moved from vehicle to vehicle, and can also check all the engine codes too.
