IF you can get enough leverage, you should be able to push past the stuck motor, unless it's fully seized. If it's like one of mine that failed, it shorted internally essentially making the the "brake" stay on.
FWIW the "brake" is really just electromagnetic resistance combined with mechanical advantage. So normally, when you unplug the controller, it lets the motor free-spin. Unless the motor is shorted.
My work around was let the good motor push the slide out about 8 inches until it started to bind, then hand push the stuck side. It took about 600 pounds of force of push the stuck side! (i.e. 3 strong men pushing from the outside). We'd push until it bound, then let the motor push the other end out until it bound. It was about a 10 minute process. This was on the small bedroom slide however. I don't think this would have worked on the main slide room.
I did not remove the motor because the controller said the short we in the motor control wiring, however it turned out the be an erroneous code. It was still under warranty so the dealer took care of that one.
