Just to be clear, the gap I spoke of (and plock40 as well I believe)is horizontal in nature. It is clearly seen in jefe's second photo. Step from the threshold with your foot sideways without looking and you may find yourself dangling between the camper and top step. I'm thinking of attaching the top step directly to the bracket to eliminate the gap. The geometry will change of course, so I may need to add a step or perhaps the Landing Gear.
