Scotty Kilmer says the EcoDiesel is the Worst Diesel Ever

I just thought his comments were interesting. Not sure if you all know of him or not but he has a YouTube channe and claims he has been a mechanic for 50 years. .

What do you all think? Is his assessment correct? Is the EcoDiesel arguably the worst Diesel engine ever?

    I doubt this fellow would see many HD diesel trucks. Most diesel owners would look for a diesel mechanic or the dealer, not Billy-Bob the local car fixer.

    That's the 3.0 L fiat-chrysler ecodiesel not the Ford...heh. I know nothing about this fellow. Was that engine even used in pickups?

    Our local dealership had a ton of trouble at first ,learning curve on the part of mechanics and the dealership stocking the right parts .Some design issues also quickly addressed .Its all good now.

    I watch him sometimes. But he has a very negative bias against anything Chrysler. So I would take anything he says with a grain of salt.
